Journey of Promise is an LDS historical fiction novel. Part One, All That Was Promised, is about a Methodist minister in 1840s Wales who converts to the Church and battles prejudice and persecution for his decision. Part 2, Journey of Promise, takes the characters from the United Kingdom to America, but along the way the find they're unprepared for the exacting toll the journey takes.
Journey of Promise does stand alone if you have not read Part One. I have ebook review copies of both books available for those who would like to read both.
